For the following pet hair removal tips you will need liquid fabric softener, a small spray bottle, a Hair & Lint Roller Remover, a Hair & Lint Removal Brush, a pair of rubber gloves, a vacuum, and a rubber brush with dustpan.
Mix Anti-Static Solution

The electric charge in cat and dog hair makes it virtually impossible to prevent pet hair from clinging to your clothes, bed linens, blankets, and other various cloth materials around the home, especially on surfaces where your pets frequently lay down. One of the simplest ways to remove pet hair is by eliminating the electric charge that allows it to cling. To do this, mix a teaspoon of liquid fabric softener with water in a small spray bottle. Vigorously shake the bottle to mix the fabric softener and water solution before lightly misting the pet covered areas around the home.
Cloth Furniture and Carpets

For clothing, furniture and carpeted surfaces that are caked in pet hair, lightly mist the surfaces in a discrete test area first before spraying the entire surface. Use the hose attachment or base of the vacuum to remove the pet hair from the surface. Vacuum these surfaces on a weekly basis to prevent future pet-hair build-up.
Linens, Blankets and Pillows

For linens, blankets, pillows, and other surfaces that only have a small amount of pet hair on them, lightly mist the area with the spray bottle and use your rubber gloves to carefully wipe away the pet hair.

These rollers are great at removing all of the pet hair from your dress suits and dark clothing in a flash! Slowly roll the roller up and down the surface of your clothing garments in a slow and smooth motion until the surface of the roller tape is covered in hair. If you still have pet hair on you, peel off the top layer of roller tape to expose a new sheet and repeat the process until all of the pet hair is removed.

For more delicate clothing materials that might become damaged if stretched or pulled by the sticky surface of the hair & link roller, use a lint and hair removal brush. This will take a little more time, but the fabric is less likely to stress from the pull of the sticky surface on the tape and will remove the pet hair equally as well.

Cleaning Floorboards and Hidden Places

Floorboards and small out of the way surfaces such as behind doors and the underside of lower kitchen cabinets can collect a lot of pet hair without regular cleaning. Use a rubber brush and dustpan to sweep up these areas on a weekly basis to prevent hair from moving around the home.
